The Ethels Venture is now complete. It had been an 18 month's experience that took me to new areas of the Peak District. My exploration of the Peak District and South Pennines will now continue with my Peak District And South Pennines Hills Explorer Venture. This includes nearly 300 hills in the area. Kapitan Mo and the Cabin Boy haven't even reached halfway in their Ethel quest and so I'll no doubt revisit some Ethels too.  Currently in plan are:

All the Wainwrights are now complete and so I can visit some of the routes that I'd neglected over the last 18 months.  

It has been a tardy start to my Dales 30 Venture; just 6 of the 30 completed so far. I used to do quite a bit of walking in the Yorkshire Dales in my earlier years, but have tended to drive straight through to the Lake District, in my later ones. I've decided to amend that and concentrate on getting the Dales 30 completed this year. I've even planned to include some backpack trips, when the weather is more amenable. Currently in plan are:

A 2023 entrant in my Venture  list is,  to walk the coastline of Anglesey. I reckon that around 30 walks will do it and so it is more of a long term project. Looking forward to it though since Wales has never let me down for breath taking views. Currently in plan are:
