Summary
A classic 22 mile Peak District challenge that splits the task over 2 days. Ease yourself into the walk with some pleasant field hopping before ascending to the rim of the valley on Lose Hill. Follow the skyline of the Edale valley, taking in the magnificent Mam Tor and the lonely Brown Knoll. Enjoy the crazy rock formations on Kinder Scout's southern edge. Take time out at a wild camp in the centre of the Kinder Scout plateau. Complete the skyline by making your way around the top of the valley to Win Hill and dropping down to the start point at Ladybower reservoir. A memorable Peak District outing.

Ladybower Reservoir To Kinder Scout
Start from Ladybower Reservoir and field hop your way across a pretty landscape to Hope. Take your time as you climb the mighty Lose Hill to gain the height required for the Edale Skyline walk. Take the classic ridge path between Lose Hill and Mam Tor with excellent views across the valleys on either side. Enjoy the remotenes of the plod across lonely Brown Knoll. Marvel at the rock formations on Kinder Scout's southern edge. Enjoy a wild camp in the middle of Kinder Scout's plateau.
Kinder Scout To Ladybower Reservoir
Walk along the southern edge of Kinder Scout admiring the spectacular rocky outcrops and the wonderful views across the Edale valley. Descend over Crookstone Hill with an inspiring panorama of the Crook and Win Hills. Look back down the Edale valley and consider the ground covered on the Edale Skyline route so far. Climb to the top of Win Hill and enjoy that 360 degree view of the Peak District, before descending through woodland to Ladybower Reservoir.
